Welcome to the Future Home of Natchitoches’ Aquatic Center

We are excited to share our vision for the redevelopment of the former swimming pool site—one that reflects our commitment to health, recreation, and community connection in Natchitoches.

This space is being reimagined as a modern, year-round indoor aquatic center, designed to serve residents of all ages and abilities. The indoor pool will allow families, seniors, students, and fitness enthusiasts to enjoy aquatic activities regardless of the season, weather, or temperature. From recreation and wellness to swim instruction and community programming, this facility is intended to be a resource that benefits the entire parish.

In addition to the indoor pool, plans include a dynamic outdoor spray park specifically designed for our youth. This interactive water play area will provide a safe, fun, and engaging space for children to cool off, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors during the warmer months—making this site a destination for families year-round.

Beyond the aquatic features, the redevelopment plan includes additional community-focused areas that will support gatherings, programming, and future opportunities for growth. Our goal is to create a welcoming destination—a place where neighbors come together, children learn and play, and families build lasting memories.
