Business

The City of Natchitoches is a proud of its reputation as a business-friendly municipality. We take this work seriously and as such, we have strong relationships with the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, an entity serving the area since 1919. We are pleased to partner with the Chamber on a number of events and have worked closely on issues around education and workforce for many years.

Additionally, the City is a major partner in the Natchitoches Community Alliance Foundation, Inc., or NCA; the NCA coordinates economic development activities for the entire parish, including the City.  The NCA works closely with City administration to ensure site development, business retention, business recruitment and area marketing occur.  Additionally, the NCA is the point of contact for all request for information (RFI) or request for proposals (RFP) for companies exploring new sites.
