UTILITY DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT SMOKE TESTS IN EAST NATCHITOCHES

 

NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches’ Utility Department would like to notify the public, smoke tests will be conducted today, Monday, March 2, 2020 on the city’s sewer system.  The tests will be conducted on North Williams Avenue between Saint Maurice and Salter Street as well as in the areas of Bird Avenue, Harling Lane, Nettie Street, and Loren Avenue.  Customers may see a harmless non-toxic smoke coming from sewer vents and piper, but should not be alarmed.
