MOTORISTS SHOULD PROCEED WITH CAUTION NEAR FRONT STREET AND LAFAYETTE STREET

 

NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches would like to notify the public that motorists should exercise caution when traveling through the area of Front Street and Lafayette Street as construction is currently taking place at the condominiums at this location.

 

A small portion of Lafayette Street between Front Street and the entrance to the parking area behind the condominiums will be closed during the day while the workers conduct their work.  Construction crews will close and reopen the street each day at the beginning and end of the work day until construction is complete.

 

During this lane closure, traffic may use the westbound lane of Lafayette Street or adjacent side streets for traveling through the area. Please exercise caution for the safety of the construction crew and motorist during the construction process.
