UPDATE: Governor John Bel Edwards stated yesterday (2/4/21) the Louisiana Department of Health will be lowering the age requirement to receive the COVID-19 vaccine for non-medical and first responder personnel in the Phase 1B, Tier 1 from age 70 to 65 beginning Monday, February 8th.

DRIVE-THRU COVID VACCINATION CLINIC
February 18th
NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches along with the Natchitoches Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness would like to notify the public, the LSU Health Science Center will be holding a Drive-Thru Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, February 18th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Ben Johnson Auditorium located at 400 MLK Drive.
This clinic is reserved for the age group of 70 years of age and older. Participants will receive their first vaccination on February 18th and the second dose is scheduled for March 11th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

This age group population has been identified as the most critical in receiving the COVID vaccine. We would like to encourage family members or friends to assist this population with registering for the vaccine if needed.
