Final Public Meeting!
Citizens Invited to Review Draft Plan and Share Ideas
The City of Natchitoches invites all citizens to attend the final public meeting presenting the city’s
draft Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan (NBPP). A first for the city, the plan will serve as a guide for
improving bicycle and pedestrian network inside city limits, once adopted.
Mayor Posey stated, “The Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan is just another future improvement our
community needs as we continue to see an influx in use of our sidewalks by cyclist and pedestrians
alike. We encourage the public to attend the meeting on August 28th and share opinions on the
proposed plan.”
The final public meeting is an opportunity for Natchitoches residents to gather and share their ideas
and experiences improving walking and biking, in addition to learning first-hand about the
proposed plan. Anyone who is interested in improving the City of Natchitoches won’t want to miss
it!
