CITY IMPLEMENTS CROSSWALK TO IMPROVE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY

NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches would like to advise the public, that weather permitting, work will begin on Monday, April 8, 2019, to construct a raised crosswalk on Isadore Drive in front of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.

 The purpose of this crosswalk is to improve safety for pedestrians crossing Isadore Drive in this area.

 It is anticipated that this work will be completed within two weeks.  While construction is ongoing, traffic on this section of Isadore Drive will be limited to one lane.  In order to minimize inconvenience, motorists should plan to utilize nearby alternate streets during this time.
