FLATONIA, Texas— Pond Hopper Nation’s Teach A Child To Fish Day is traveling to Natchitoches, Louisiana with long time sponsor, Lady Bass Anglers Association.
Teach A Child To Fish Day is a community-wide event aimed at getting children involved in the sport of fishing by teaching them the basics on fishing, boating and conservation.

The excitement on all the kid’s faces and the thought that this is the start of their fishing journey couldn’t bring me more joy.”

Lady Bass Anglers Association has been a driving force for the Teach A Child To Fish Day’s since the event’s start in 2016. Cheryl Bowden, Co-Founder of the LBAA, also sees the positive impact these events have on the communities it travels to.

“Working with Pond Hopper Nation to bring the “Teach A Child To Fish” event to Louisiana is an amazing opportunity for us and for the community. Anytime we can get a kid hooked on fishing, who might not otherwise have had the opportunity, is a win-win situation!” Explained Bowden. “ “Our Passion, Their Future” is the motto we used when we began our journey in 2010 and it still holds true today, especially when we can partner with Pond Hopper Nation to bring the “Teach A Child To Fish” event to a city with our tour.”

The much anticipated event will take place on June 18, 2021 from 12 pm to 6 pm at 626 Front St, Natchitoches, Louisiana.
