Natchitoches needs your voice! Here in the culturally rich and close-knit city of Natchitoches, we have much to celebrate. But there are challenges and barriers we can’t ignore if we are to realize our true potential. It’s not enough to talk. It’s not enough to post online. It’s not enough to dream. Now is the time to act. With a series of strategic investments, policies, and focused projects, we can:

Natchitoches NEXT is a comprehensive plan for the city’s bright future. Over the past 18 months, a steering committee of representative stakeholders, key parish and city officials, and proven experts in community planning have collaborated on its development. We need your unique perspective and honest feedback as we move into the final stages. Join us at any one of three community meetings to learn about our process and see the recommendations in detail.
