
The Natchitoches Regional Airport (KIER) is located at 450 Wallenberg Drive, just southwest of downtown Natchitoches, Louisiana. Natchitoches Regional Airport sits at an elevation of 121 feet, and offers two runways. Runway 17/35 measures 5,000 x 150 feet, which is critical to landing larger corporate jets, and is lighted and paved. Runway 7/25 is 4,000 x 100 feet, and is also lighted and paved. The main ramp, fuel pumps, and terminal are midfield, east of Runway 17/35, which is the runway most commonly used.
Tiedowns are free, and hangar space may be available (please call ahead for availability). The Airport provides a full-service mechanic shop that is on call 24 hours a day. Rental cars are available through Enterprise Rent-a-Car, as well as two courtesy cars which may be available.
The main terminal has a shower, kitchenette, wireless Internet, DSL, and a pilot lounge with computerized weather. 100LL and Jet fuel are available from automated fuel pumps 24 hours a day, with fueling by an on-site attendant during daylight hours. The airport also has available a 2,200 gallon Jet-A fuel truck which can fuel aircraft quickly and conveniently, single point, or over the wing.
The terminal is staffed dawn to dusk, with 24-hour call out. The airport also boasts an FAA-approved flight school in conjunction with Northwestern State University, and a unique geographical location since it is close to a federal airway and other flight schools.
The Natchitoches Regional Airport hosts Fifth Saturday Fly-Ins from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. welcoming area pilots and local citizens to visit the airport. Please refer to the City’s calendar for confirmation of dates for upcoming fly-ins.

Natchitoches Airport Commission
The Natchitoches Airport Commission meets at the airport on the third Monday of each month at 5 p.m. The Commission operates in an advisory capacity and reviews the Airport Operational Manual, all airport projects, and FAA and DOTD requirements. The Airport Manager and Fixed Based Operations (FBO) Manager are ex-officio members and advise the Commission on airport projects and operations.
In 2010, Natchitoches Regional Airport was named Louisiana Airport of the Year by the Federal Aviation Administration at its annual conference in Fort Worth, Texas.

Cane River Aviation Rendezvous- Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2011
Natchitoches Regional Airport will host the Cane River Aviation Rendezvous Fly-in on Friday, Sept. 30 and Friday, Oct. 1 featuring airplanes, food and a shuttle service to the Classic Car Show held Saturday, Oct. 1 in the Natchitoches Historic District.
